I'm currently dealing with an injury that's meant that a number of household repair tasks (hanging a shelf, rehanging cabinet doors, etc.) couldn't be completed. I was referred to this service and it was exactly what I needed.They sent an incredible handyman that completed the tasks quickly and explained throughout their process and what kind of supplies I could buy in the future to prevent things from falling again.The whole experience was a dream. Payment was easy. The administrative staff and handyman were very communicative. They were able to help me quickly. Very enjoyable experience.

This company responded right away to my queries (within minutes), was able to give me an estimate within minutes and booked me an appointment for the job within 48 hours. The handyman they sent was on time, friendly and very efficient. So impressed with the whole experience!

The technician arrived punctually, and the quality of his work was excellent. He explained clearly the work that would be required and different options. He worked efficiently and cleaned up thoroughly. The company communicated clearly and promptly regarding the estimate and scheduling.

It’s been years since I first hired OddJob and I’ll always call on them when I need something fixed. I give them 5 stars across the board for customer service, reliability, and job performance. And in these troubling economic times, their fees are fair. Honestly, I almost want to break something just so I can call them. But seriously, though, this is a company to keep in mind when stuff around the house needs a friendly, skilled handyman. I highly recommend them!

My experience with Odd Job Handyman was outstanding in every way. I had two distinct jobs to be done: one replacing rotting boards on my deck and another fixing a wonky door in my basement shower that initially looked as if the bulkhead the shower was anchored to would have to be removed. Stephen arrived on a rainy day, evaluated the projects and offered me a reasonable estimate, explaining why the job was not going to be as easy as my photographs suggested. He returned with Angelo and they did a spectacular job with both projects, even coming up with a solution to the bathroom shower that would save me money. They explained every issue that arose in language a non-handy person like myself could understand, they pointed out problems, like ants in the deck and how to address it, and even carried my very heavy planters. They could not have been nicer or more professional and, as my partner said, “We have found a winner in Odd Job Handyman.” I will contact them again without hesitation.

I've used Odd Job in two consecutive apartments for help anchoring shelves into concrete ceilings. Submitting details about the work was easy, Odd Job was always quick to respond, and in both cases we had a tech scheduled within days. For the most recent job, Stephen was a total pro—kind, accommodating, and efficient. He did a great job. I wouldn't hesitate to use Odd Job again, and would happily recommend them to others.

Front porch and back deck repairs: Justin was amiable in coming up with a few speedy estimates on what needed to be fixed around my house. Robyn took care of scheduling and billing and was friendly and v. professional on the phone in addition to being v. responsive via email.Stephen, the senior tech, was v. friendly, professional, and did an excellent job in power-washing and fixing minor repairs on my front porch, fixing my back deck, and rebuilding the back stairs (see pics). This is the second time I've used Odd Jobs and will def. be calling them again in the future for other repairs around my home. Many thanks!

Justin came by to help with minor repairs in my home, mainly some closet sliding doors and recaulking the bathsink. He was friendly, professional, efficient and a pleasure to work with. I valued his honesty when it came to some repairs that just weren’t worth attempting to fix and needed a replacement. Will be exploring other repairs with this company in the future.

Odd job came and installed new shut off valves and a bathroom faucet. Although it was ikea it still involved some pipe cutting which I wasn’t excited to do myself. They did a great job. Showed up on time, finished pretty quickly! The process was easy. And I didn’t get any sudden catastrophes or surprises that jacked the quote up.

There was a hole in my drywall behind my fridge which needed to be fixed. It was easy to use the Oddjob website and I was booked immediately for the service. Our handyman was Stephen J. and he came early, fixed the wall promptly, cleaned up so nicely and answered all my questions. Stephen was awesome! Overall I am very happy with this service! I would definitely recommend Oddjob where you need a handyman services.

Really like working with Robyn, Justin, Geoff, Stephen, Andreka, and the rest of the Odd Job team! We’ve worked with them on numerous occasions, with the projects ranging from drywall repair, TV mounting, caulking stairs, adding trim all around our basement, replacing weather stripping on our door, to moving a big sectional couch from our basement, updating our doorknobs and deadbolts, replacing a pipe in our kitchen sink, adding new lighting to our front porch, building custom window screens for our bathroom and mudroom, trimming a laundry room door, and building a custom door for our storage space! Quite a wide and varied list, for which we don’t have the tools or the time or the know-how to do ourselves. The booking and billing process is also super easy as well, and we are looking forward to continuing to work with the team in the future.

I hired Odd Job handymen to do some repairs in my rental property. It was easy to book remotely and schedule visits. They were professional, prompt and knowledgeable. They sourced some difficult parts and replaced them in good time. All in all I would highly recommend them.

I have engaged Odd Job multiple times to help fix issues with a few of my rental properties. They were very easy and smooth to deal with and the servicemen were professional and did great work. Bearing in mind I actually did all the coordination from a 12 hour time difference as I am based abroad. I would not hesitate to recommend this company for any kind of "handyman" type of work that is required. I also find them to be thorough and honest and their fee is competitive as I always do my checks with others to compare.

I am very happy with the job that the handyman from Odd Job did for me. He removed my window a/c unit and filled a few holes in my basement wall. He arrived right on time and completed the job in a timely manner. The charge for this service was very reasonable. Another company wanted almost the same rate for just the a/c unit removal. I definitely will consider Odd Job again in the spring time to instal the a/c unit again.

Alistair did a great job repairing the water damaged drywall and plaster around the chimney. Nice smooth finish and dust was kept to a minimum. I would recommend Odd Jobs Handyman for small projects or repair work around the house.

Odd Job did a great job of demolishing and removing an old rotting, termite-eaten door frame, fixing the vapor barrier underneath the frame, rebuilding the frame and installing the door, in honestly a rather wonky basement entrance-way. They also changed the way the door functioned to make sure everything was up to code (solid door, opening outward).

Another thing I appreciated was they did some prep work at their workshop so my day didn't have to be interrupted by a follow-up visit.

I can't stress enough how friendly, organized, prompt, punctual and efficient these guys are, and the workmanship is great as well. Top marks in all areas, really.
