I just have a small job. Will you still come to my home or business?
No job is too small – or too odd.
Whether it’s changing a hard-to-reach lightbulb, fixing a door that sticks, or just working through your to-do list of odd jobs around the house or office, our industry-leading minimum charge is just one hour. Time to put us to work!
Do you do onsite consultations or assessments? Are they required for every project?
Onsite assessments are typically required for projects that are larger or more involved than others. This is a visit from our Project Estimator, who will come to your site, do a walkthrough with you; ask all their questions, answer all of yours.
For projects of a certain nature, this is the best way to provide you with an accurate estimate. Our fee for a highly experienced Project Estimator to assess your needs is $75 which is reimbursed on approved projects over $500.

Do you offer services in my area?
Our service area includes central and west Toronto,
including parts of Mississauga and North York. Enter your postal code to confirm if we’re in your area, and we’ll address the rest!
Does Odd Job guarantee its work?

We offer a best-in-industry 2-year warranty on work carried out by our highly trained technicians.
Do you work evenings and weekends?
Yes, we accept appointments booked outside of our regular business hours
(9am-5pm Monday to Friday). Note that additional charges apply for this service.
Do I need to provide any materials for the job?
Odd Job provides all construction-grade materials for your project.
However, we advise customers to provide any finishing materials like faucets, light fixtures or curtain rods to ensure they get exactly what they want. We are happy to source items for you if provided with enough information.
Is Odd Job licensed and insured?
Absolutely!
We carry all provincial, federal and municipal licenses, are fully covered by WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board) and carry $5 million in general liability insurance.
Do your technicians carry all the required tools for the job?
Our team members arrive at your home or business in fully-loaded mobile workshops.

What Are Your Rates?
Odd Job handyman rates are based on the size and/or complexity of your project.

How many crew members will show up at my home or business?
This completely depends on your needs.
Small jobs usually require only one technician; larger or more complicated projects may require additional team members to complete the work.
What Forms Of Payment Do You Accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard Google and Apple Pay or E-Transfer
We offer a secure online payment portal that all our customers have access to through their client hub. When you receive your invoice, there is a big green button that says Review and Pay Invoice, click that, you will be taken directly to our payments page. There is also a list of payment methods and process on every invoice we sent out, just in case you forget.
